April 21, 2025, Pickerington, OH - Pickerington Local School District announces, pending Board approval, that Jim Campbell, Principal of Pickerington High School North, will transition to Director of Information Management for the 2025–2026 school year.

Mr. Campbell has been with Pickerington Local School District since 2000, serving in roles including teacher, athletic director, assistant principal, and principal at two district schools. Currently, as Principal of Pickerington High School North, he has focused on fostering a positive school culture, supporting student success, and strengthening community engagement.

"I am proud to be able to recommend Jim to the PLSD Board of Education for approval to take the reins of the Director of Information Management role,” said Pickerington Local Schools Interim Superintendent Dr. Scott J. Hunt."

In his new role as Director of Information Management, Mr. Campbell will oversee the District’s student information management systems and Welcome Center, ensuring efficient and effective access to student information and data. He will also be responsible for the accurate and timely collection, collation, and reporting of all student and staff data required by state, federal, and local agencies. His work will prioritize maintaining compliance and data integrity across the District.

Reflecting on his time as principal, Mr. Campbell shared, "I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together at Pickerington High School North. I look forward to contributing to the District in new ways as Director of Information Management."

Campbell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education from Ohio Wesleyan University, a Master’s in Education from Marygrove University, and licensure credentials in Principal and Superintendent Leadership from the University of Dayton and Youngstown State University, respectively.
