Purpose

  • The purpose of our organization is to provide funds, programs, resources and services that will enrich and maximize the education of every Heritage Elementary student. We aim to promote open communication between the administration, teachers, and parents, while strengthening Heritage Elementary's school spirit and pride. The PTO uses its resources, both manpower and monetary, to support the efforts of the staff of our school while providing fun and educational experiences for our students.

Membership

  • All parents and guardians of children attending Heritage Elementary, as well as all members of the Heritage Elementary staff, are automatically considered members of the Parent Teacher Organization – no sign up required!

Meetings

  • The PTO meets on the third Thursday of each month from 7 pm to 8 pm in the Staff Lounge. Updates on meeting times and topics will be posted on the Heritage PTO Facebook page in the days leading up to each meeting date. Children and new faces are always welcome! 

Events

  • The PTO sponsors several fun and educational events throughout the year, like this year’s Trunk-or-Treat, student dances, field trips, Fun Day and more! Information on upcoming events can be found on the PTO Facebook Page as well as on the PTO Website.

Volunteering

  • Join usPTO-sponsored efforts can’t happen without the time, talents and treasures of our volunteers. Volunteering doesn’t have to be a huge time or energy commitment – whatever your availability or interests, we have something for you!
