We maintain a RESPECTFUL environment for our teachers, our peers, and ourselves. We are RESPONSIBLE for all of our choices and the consequences that follow, either good or bad. We are always READY for our learning journey! GRRR!

CLASSROOM
Grit
Use your best effort. Be a problem-solver. Set goals for yourself. Take chances while learning (everyone makes mistakes). Work through learning challenges.
Respectful
Follow directions from adults and respond appropriately. Raise your hand. Be kind to others. Build yourself and others up!
Responsible
Keep your desk and area clean. Ask for help, if needed. Ask for permission to leave the room. Complete assignments with pride and effort.
Ready
Be on time. Have the necessary supplies. Stay engaged. Take steps to reach your goals. Eyes, ears, and brain are ready to learn!

Follow your line leader. Ignore distractions. Admire others' displayed work.
Respectful
Be mindful of other classrooms. Voices off! Keep hands and feet to yourself. Silent wave or smile.
Responsible
Walk quietly with feet facing forward. Keep the hallways and walls clean.
Ready
Take the supplies needed for your destination. Reach your destination quickly. Go from Point A directly to Point B.

RESTROOM
Grit
Be patient for your turn. Ignore distractions. Return to class as soon as you are finished.
Respectful
Use the restroom quickly and flush the toilet. Give everyone privacy. Keep hands and feet to yourself. Keep trash off the floor.
Responsible
Report messy conditions (puddles, sink, or toilet problems). Wash your hands with soap. Dispose of paper towels properly. Use the facilities as intended.
Ready
Use the restroom during scheduled breaks. Use the bathroom closest to your location. Be aware of water or mess on the floor.

CAFETERIA

Be patient in the lunch line. Accept possible lunch changes. Maintain a positive attitude.
Respectful
Use good manners. Keep hands and feet to yourself. Use quiet voices. Follow directions from adults and respond appropriately.
Responsible
Eat your lunch to fuel your mind and body. Throw away your trash and clean your table area. Gather your personal belongings before leaving the cafeteria.
Ready
Know what you ordered. Actively listen to adults in the lunch line and cafeteria. Have your lunch code memorized or have your scan card ready in your hand.

Be patient and take turns. Be a problem-solver, but have the courage to seek adult help. Be inclusive. Use the Buddy Bench.

Keep hands and feet to yourself. Use kind words. Have good sportsmanship. Follow directions from adults and respond appropriately.

Clean up one game before starting a new one. Accept the consequences of your decisions. Use equipment safely. Be mindful of your proximity to others.

Return equipment and games to the correct location. Gather your personal belongings before making a transition. Line up when you hear your bell or whistle, face forward, and be ready to enter the building.
