WEB Leaders
Introducing WEB - "Where Everyone Belongs," our special program just for junior high! WEB welcomes 7th graders and ensures they feel at home during their first year here. We believe students can support each other, so we train 8th-grade mentors as WEB Leaders. These leaders, as role models, guide 7th graders through the transition to middle school, helping them find success in their new journey. How to Start a Student Club or Activity 😊
1. Develop your idea for your club/activity.2. Prepare a written proposal for your club/activity, including all pertinent information:
- Who will be involved?
- What will be the purpose of the club/activity?
- When will the club/activity meet?
- Where will most activities take place?
- Why is this club/activity important to the students at LJHS?
3. Discuss your proposal with LJHS Administration.
4. Find a Lakeview staff member who is willing to supervise club/activity meetings.
5. Review and revise the proposal. Prepare the proposal for the Faculty Leadership Team.
6. Lakeview’s Faculty Leadership Team will review and vote on the club/activity proposal.
