Our Mission: At Pickerington Schools, our English Learner department is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students of diverse linguistic backgrounds thrive academically, linguistically, and culturally. Our mission is to provide personalized, research-based instruction that empowers English Learners to develop proficiency in language skills, critical thinking, and socio-cultural competence. Through innovative teaching practices, collaborative partnerships, and a culturally responsive approach, we strive to equip students with the language tools and confidence needed to succeed in an interconnected world.

Our Vision: Pickerington Schools serves approximately 1000 English Learners. We are a very diverse community. Our students and families come from over 88 countries and speak more than 73 languages!
