College-Readiness Testing

For students without ACT scores, college-readiness testing is available through our local partners at their campuses conveniently located in Reynoldsburg.  Students must apply to the college prior to testing.  It is also recommended that students apply to both colleges to be able to seamlessly enroll in locally-offered CCP courses within the high schools.

Please note: students must submit their printed results to the counselors’ office at their high school.  Colleges will not transmit score reports to the district.

Testing is available at the following locations:

Columbus State – click here to apply

Notes:

  • Students are welcome to take the WritePlacer (the test for English placement) at either campus; results may be used for courses through either college
  • Students taking courses through Columbus State will also need to take the Reading portion of Accuplacer if they do not have an ACT Reading score of 22 or higher
  • Students taking Math courses through COTC may use the ALEKS math exam that is proctored by Columbus State, but Columbus State will not accept COTC’s math placement exam (Quantitative Reasoning)
